Prof. NTOUMI is President of Fondation congolaise pour la Recherche Médicale (FCRM), Deputy Chair of the African Academy of Sciences (AAS) for Central Africa, member of the L'OREAL-UNESCO jury (sub-Saharan Africa) and several others international scientific committees including AFRICA-CDC, WHO / Africa, the Global Health Scientific Advisory Committee of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Fondation MERIEUX.

She coordinates several research networks active in Central Africa (CANTAM, PANDORA, Africlinique etc.) and since April 2021 has chaired the scientific council of the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD).
